“Development began in the late 1950’s. The company formed and the first product was sold in 1960. “

How does Bubble Wrap react to high altitudes?
_“Bubble Wrap cushioning reacts extremely well and passes the ASTM Test Method for altitudes and meets Gov’t Spec PPP-C-795D.”
Where is it made?
“Sealed Air’s Bubble Wrap® cushioning is manufactured on all five continents…..see our web site.”
How many sizes of Bubble Wrap® are there?
“There are 5 sizes of Standard Bubble Wrap® cushioning: 1/16”, 1/8”, 3/16”, 5/16”, 1/2”. There is one size for Inflatable Bubble Wrap® cushioning which is 3/4”.”
How many types of Bubble Wrap® cushioning are there?
“Standard, anti-static, reflective insulated, specialty laminates, adhesive, cohesive, roll stock, Bubble Bags® pouches, and flame-retardant-anti-static.”
How many colors of Bubble Wrap® are there?
“Transparent, pink for anti-static. We have the ability to make Bubble Wrap cushioning in any color as a non-standard offering for customers.”
